The Kindred Group has built upon its ongoing agreement with the Mohegan Sun Pocono, after going live with online casino and sports betting throughout Pennsylvania.
After launching a Unibet Sportsbook at the property, one of five owned by the Mohegan Tribe, the announcement comes in line with a strategy to establish a deepened presence “in what will most likely become the largest gambling market in the world”.
Facilitated by Mohegan Sun online, the group is to adapt a local focus as well as ensuring Unibet’s range of products are enjoyed in a “safe and secure environment”.
Aviram Alroy, vice president of interactive gaming at Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment, explained: “We’re thrilled to introduce to our customers an opportunity to place bets and game online within the state borders. Our sportsbook lounge is a highly engaging and joyful experience on-premises and Kindred Group are able to extend that experience online through our strategic partnership.
“Mohegan Sun has been a great partner throughout the preparation for this launch and we are confident that this will be a long-term and successful relationship in bringing a top-quality product to Pennsylvania.”
Kindred will utilise Pala Interactive’s online gaming offering in Pennsylvania alongside Kambi’s sport betting platform, and becomes the second state in the US that the online gaming operator has debuted. This follows a partnership entered with Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City in New Jersey earlier in the year.
